Cruise Whitsundays will commence a three vessel Resort Connections timetable which will service Daydream Island Resort and Spa, South Molle Island, Long Island, Airlie Beach and Hamilton Island Airport. For the first time Long Island Resort will now have direct services from Hamilton Island Airport to the Resort. As part of the new partnership Cruise Whitsundays has created a number of new day cruise options to Long Island Resort. Day guests can enjoy both the Resort facilities and the fantastic natural features and walks of the island¹s National Park. Cruise Whitsundays also features Barefoot Lodge a part of Long Island Resort in their Awesome Adventures Oz packages. Both Long Island Resort and Club Croc, Airlie Beach will also commence selling Cruise Whitsundays¹ Great Barrier Reef Adventures, Camira Whitehaven Sailing Adventure and Island Escapes to their guests as of that date. Executive Director Chris Jacobs says "This is clearly a further big step forward in our planned growth in the Whitsundays. We have brought a new, much higher level of service and standard of vessel to the Whitsundays¹ scene along with a lot of innovative ideas. It is an exciting time for all our staff and a great compliment to them. We are looking forward to great things with Ocean Resorts." South Sea Cruises in Fiji, the sister company to Cruise Whitsundays, has this week successfully completed a similar deal whereby they have taken over all the transfers and day cruises for one of Fiji¹s longest established and better known resorts Beachcomber. This became effective on April 1st and similarly is a significant development for the company. Marine Tourism Holdings is the New Zealand based parent company of Cruise Whitsundays, South Sea Cruises and both Awesome Adventures Fiji and Awesome Adventures Oz. All in all it has been a very big week for us.
