The Bruce Highway links Queensland's major coastal cities and towns.

Airlie Beach is 125km north of Mackay and 75km south of Bowen. Just north of Proserpine lies the turn off east to the two communities of Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. Take the Gregory-Cannon Valley Road if coming from the north or Shute Harbour Road if approaching from the south, just after Proserpine. As you journey through emerald green sugar cane farms and State Forest Hilltops the first suburb you will come accross is Cannonvale, then comes the breathtaking view of Abel Point Marina and Pioneer Bay, followed by Airlie Beach.

The main centre of Airlie Beach consists of one street dotted with shops, restaurants, cafes, night clubs, boutiques, supermarkets and accommodation. The framing hills feature self-contained apartment accommodation with views to die for!

Proserpine and Airlie are regular stops for north and south bound transit coaches such as Greyhound Pioneer.

In a private car the drive from Brisbane takes approx 12 hours with breaks, so plan to stop over mid trip so you arrive relaxed. From Cairns allow around 7 hours with suggested breaks in Cardwell, Townsville, Ayr and Bowen. Townsville is 4 hours south of Cairns.

Secure Car Parking is available at Shute Harbour close to the launch departure. For reservations and further information, contact Secure Car Parking on 07 4946 9666 from within Australia or International callers +61 7 4946 9666.
