qualia offers a choice of 60 individual pavilions, each with breathtaking views.  Spacious one bedroom freestanding pavilions (Windward and Leeward) provide an indulgent space to relax in and unwind, with either a sundeck or private infinity edge plunge pool. Or, there is the uncompromising luxury and privacy of the Beach House with its own guest pavilion.

Windward Pavilion
The north-facing Windward Pavilions give expansive, postcard views of the Coral Sea and Whitsundays. The beautifully appointed pavilions feature a living room, separate bedroom with a king bed (or twin bedding available on request), ensuite and offer the added indulgence of a private saltwater heated plunge pool.  Room size is 120sqm.  Max. room capacity is 2 Adults.  Bedding is 1 King or 2 Single Beds.

Leeward Pavilion
The south west-facing Leeward Pavilions give you a serene outlook of the Whitsunday Passage and the Coral Sea.  These studio-style pavillions have a private furnished sundeck and elegant relaxed decor featuring natural timbers, fabrics and stone.  Relax on the sundeck to capture the warmth of the sun during the day and amazing sunsets at dusk.  Room size is 90sqm.  Max. room capacity is 2 Adults.  Bedding is 1 King or 2 Single Beds.

Beach House
For something truly special, experience the Beach House for the ultimate secluded hideaway with island and Coral Sea views. With a main bedroom and ensuite, spacious entertaining area featuring a large flat-screen TV with surround sound, a 10-person dining room, a private twelve metre full-sized heated saltwater swimming pool, as well as a separate freestanding guesthouse, the Beach House is an indulgence like no other.  Room size is 240sqm including 2 bedrooms.  Bedding is 2 King beds or twin bedding available on request.  Max. room capacity is 4 adults.  Additionally the Beach House includes complimentary mini bar.

qualia has two stunning, climate-controlled infinity edge pools – one at the Long Pavilion and the other at Pebble Beach.  Both pools are complemented with full bar service, and Pebble Beach also offers food service.

For those seeking a break from relaxing and dining, the Gym & Fitness Centre has state-of-the-art equipment including four treadmills, and three cross trainers and resistance machines. It also boasts stunning views of the Whitsundays for the perfect backdrop to any workout.

Library
Housing a unique collection of books ranging from limited editions to the rare and popular, the Library is sure to provoke your imagination. Books of interest include a signed edition of fashion photography icon Mario Testino’s Let Me In, and a rare work by David LaChapelle.

And for further entertainment, the Library also offers a range of the world’s most stylish games by Renzo Romagnoli, a handmade chess set, and Hermés playing cards.

Dining
The Long Pavilion is ideally suited for breezy breakfasts. In the afternoon, it transforms into a space where you’re invited to enjoy cocktails, and then formal dining in the evening. The indulgent menu includes qualia’s signature degustation menu of seven courses and an accompanying wine cellar selection.

The informal Pebble Beach restaurant is located by the water’s edge. The Executive Chef’s passion for fresh and seasonal Australian produce is reflected in the menu, providing contemporary Australian casual lunching at its best. Then relax into the afternoon on the sun-drenched terrace at the beachside cocktail bar.

Kumali ritual signature treatment
The Aboriginal word 'Kumali' means 'sacred'.  The Kumali's are signature to qualia and contain all that is Australian, a blend of herbs and spices to help relieve muscular aches and tension, stimulate circulation, refresh the skin and relax the body.  This steaming ball of native herbs and spices is dipped in Australian macadamia and sweet almond oil and massaged, pressed and rolled over your entire body.  This profound ritual truly represents the 'qualia effect'.  Treatment duration: 90 minutes. 

Spa qualia information
Spa qualia's menu is authentically Australian, incorporating treatments that have been thoughtfully designed to rebalance the synergy between mind and body and to capture the essence of Australia and the Great Barrier Reef.   Offering an all-encompassing, sensual experience with facilities including Roman baths, an invigorating Swiss shower, a steam room along with an open air yoga and meditation pavilion.
