Garden Rooms:
The Standard Garden Room is designed to create a comfortable holiday retreat conveniently located close to the centre of the resort. The Garden Balcony Room enjoys views over a sparkling pool or lush rainforest.
There is a Wheelchair/Disabled Room in the Garden Rooms (must be requested upon booking).

Ocean Balcony:
The Ocean Balcony Rooms have views of the tropical surrounds including the marina or beautiful Mermaids Beach. There is a balcony or patio area.

Coral Ocean Balcony:
Located in the Coral Wing, these rooms boast uninterrupted ocean views and offer either a balcony or patio area. Rooms are styled with contemporary furniture and feature spacious en-suites, air conditioning and modern appliances.

Reef Suite:
The Reef Suite features two queen beds, a sitting area and a balcony overlooking picture-perfect island views. The contemporary-styled Reef suites are comfortable and practical for families. For additional space, families can also book a Reef Suite and a Daydreamer Suite together so rooms can interconnect creating separate areas for adults and children to relax.

Daydreamer Suite:
Perfect for honeymooners, the gorgeous Daydreamer Suite offers stunning ocean views without even having to get out of bed! Located in the Daydreamer Wing overlooking Lovers Cove, this romantic retreat features a spacious en-suite with a spa bath and glass windows that peer into the bedroom and out to the scenic water views. These stylish suites have a large balcony and are designed for privacy and romance.

Living Reef
One of the worlds largest coral reef lagoons and features more than 80 species of marine fish and 50 species of coral.  This microcosm of the Great Barrier Reef gives guests the opportunity to experience a guided tour and hand feed barramundi, sharks and stingrays and view the array of other tropical fish and coral specimens.  The living Reef Ranger programme gives children 6 years and older a very unique 3 hour educational experience.  Bookings can be made at the Activities desk.   

Skippers Kids Club
Open daily for one or four hour child care sessions. Catering for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. Evening babysitting services available. Kids will also love the Jungle Jumble Kids Playground. Equipment is available to hire such as cots, prams and strollers.

Daydream Island’s premier a la carte restaurant, with scenic ocean views, overlooking Mermaids Beach, and the Islands iconic three mermaids statues. Open for a late riser a la carte breakfast and lunch, seven days and dinner on selected evenings. Mermaids Restaurant features modern Australian cuisine, with a focus on locally sourced fresh Queensland produce.

Waterfalls
A buffet style restaurant overlooking the island’s natural living reef. Waterfalls restaurant serves a buffet breakfast daily, and offers a buffet dinner on selected evenings.

Fishbowl
A bistro style restaurant offering a selection of traditional and contemporary pizza and pasta meals. Open for dinner on selected evenings. DJ entertainment on selected evenings.

Boathouse Bakery
A tempting range of Island baked products, and light meals. Sandwiches, wraps, pies, salads, cakes, pastries and hot
beverages. Open daily 9.30am - 4.30pm.

Coffee Bean Café
The Coffee Bean cafe offers a variety of cakes and savouries, produced fresh daily. There is also a selection of gourmet coffees and teas, hot chocolates, milkshakes and fruit juice smoothies. A popular gathering spot, The Coffee Bean Cafe is located in the main atrium of the resort. Open daily from 8am.

Island Bars:
Splashes - Swim up pool bar located at the northern end of the Island, with a variety of cold beverages and light lunch options.
Lagoons - Located in the main atrium, Lagoons features live musical entertainment every evening.
Gilligan's Health Hut & Bar - Located at the southern end of the island, Gilligan's has a variety of ice creams, fresh juices, smoothies,
as well as a selection of alcoholic beverages.
Fishbowl - Located at the southern end of the island. Open on selected evenings. DJ entertainment on selected evenings.

Getting There:
Daydream Island is the closest island to the mainland and easily accessible from Shute Harbour, Airlie Beach or the nearby Hamilton Island.
